Freezing unfertilized eggs for future use is a good option for extend fertility for women in their 20s and 30s. It can be done for women in their early 40s, but these women often have very few eggs and high rates of genetic abnormalities in their eggs, which will substantially reduce the pregnancy rate with use of these frozen eggs.
